2NE1 officially bid farewell to fans, releasing their final song “Goodbye” at midnight on January 21.
The song, written by CL and composed by J Gramm and Rock
Monroe, has already hit No. 1 on eight iTunes charts from around the
world: Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia,
Cambodia, Philippines. The music video surpassed 1 million views after
seven hours, and is currently approaching 1.7 million views, less than
11 hours after release.
“Goodbye” has a bare sound, the members’ voices
accompanied by acoustic guitar, perfect for 2NE1’s last message to fans,
“until they day we meet again.”
