Dara to MC “Sugar Man” With Yoo Jae Suk and Yoo Hee Yeol

Sandara Park will be an MC on the JTBC variety show “Searching for Sugar Man.”

She will be working alongside Yoo Jae Suk and Yoo Hee Yeol, who were MCs on the pilot episodes of the variety show that aired in August.

On being chosen as the MC for the show, Dara stated, “This is my first time being a regular MC so I’m happy, first of all. I think it will be a great opportunity. I’m glad that I get to work with the best MC, the best composer and lyricist. I think I would also like to perform on the show as a current musician, if possible.”

“Searching for Sugar Man,” which will unearth forgotten hit singers from the past in a competition-style program, will premiere as a regular program in October. This will be Dara’s first time being a main MC on a variety program.

Yang Hyun Suk reveals what's in store for 2NE1, says their contract ends next year

It is well-nigh two years that Blackjacks have last seen their queens. With the recent, distressing rumors of the group's disbandment, fans can't help but fret and wonder, what's in store for the fierce ladies of 2NE1?

'Newsen' has released the contents of the interview with Yang Hyun Suk held this past October 3, during which he revealed 2NE1's future plans.

Staying ever discreet, Papa YG didn't disclose much when he told the media outlet "As of now, we are focusing on CL's American debut. After she does well [in America], we will think of [plans for] 2NE1,"  and added, "2NE1 is contracted until next year."

At this ominous statement, fans are once again worried about the possible disbandment of 2NE1. Media has reported that the group is "on the verge of breaking up," and that their disbandment is considered "a fact within YG." However, the label has denied all these claims.
