2NE1, the girl group of 4 members (CL, Sandara Park, Park Bom and
Gong Minji) not only topped the GAON Digital Chart but also had 9 of
their songs in the top 20.
According to the GAON Chart on Mar. 13, the title song
“Come Back Home” of 2NE1’s second album “Crush,” which was released on
Feb. 27, received 17,784,174 scores in the third week of March (Mar. 2
to 8), and topped the GAON Digital Chart with ease.
This is not all.
2NE1’s another title song “Gotta Be You” ranked 3, “If I
were you” ranked 8. Other songs such as “Crush,” “Good to You,” “Mental
Breakdown,” “Happy,” “Scream,” “Baby I Miss You” ranked 13, 14, 15, 16,
17, and 19, respectively. Nine songs out of 10 in the second album were
ranked within 20 in the GAON Digital Chart.
Thinking that the only track that didn’t make it into
the top 20 was the unplugged version of “Come Back Home,” it is right to
say that all songs in the second album were listed in the top 20 of the
GAON Digital Chart.
With their song “Come Back Home,” 2NE1 also topped the Online Download Chart of GAON in the third week of March.
In the afternoon of Mar. 13, 2NE1 will make its first
show in “M Countdown,” which is a K-POP ranking program of Mnet. In the
show, 2NE1 will sing “Come Back Home” and “If I were you,” which topped
the digital chart. On Mar. 9, 2NE1 did appear on TV through SBS Inkigayo
with their second album. But it is still their first time showing “If I
were you” on Mnet.
“Mr. Mr,” a fourth mini-album of Girls’ Generation
released in Feb. took the first place in the GAON Album Chart for the
third week of Mar. The Online Streaming Chart was topped by Soyou and
Junggigo’s “Some.”
