After 2NE1's concert-like triple song stage on Thursday's M.Countdown, anticipation for 2NE1's next performance was even greater. Of course 2NE1 was up to the challenge and pulled off yet another great performance of their title song, "Ugly".
2NE1 has had a bit of trouble with the lower notes in prior performances, however, tonight all four girls pulled off their verses wonderfully. In fact, overall this may be their best vocal performance of the song. That coupled with their always present and boundless energy made for an awesome stage.
Although keeping in the same style of the MV and previous comeback stages, 2NE1 switched it up today opting for a more monochrome look. All the girls kept to their style only removed all the color for a seemless black and white stage. Rather than a wacky hairstyle, Darawore a bandana tied in the front that gave her "gangsta" look even more oomph. CL took a page from her unnies playbook and wore a pair of designed tights, similar in style to Dara and Bom's from the "Hate You" performances. Speaking of Bom, though her dress was impossibly short, she pulled off the look as only she can. Finally, leave it to maknae Minzy to pimp the skeleton gloves in the middle of summer. The matching skeleton pants work to giving Minzy a wonderful silhouette.
