Go Away (Japanese Ver.) to be Used as Theme Song for Fuji TV's Meza Nyuu Program

Seems like Japan is still in love with our girls. First, the news that Nylon's editor is having a tough time keeping 2NE1's issue of Nylon Japan in stock shows how crazily popular our girls is, and now, even greater news.

For those that don't know, Mezamashi TV (めざましテレビ) [nicknamed Meza Nyuu by fans of the show] is a Japanese newsmagazine show broadcast every weekday on Fuji TV from 4:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Mezamashi is a form of the Japanese verb mezamasu (to wake up). It has been honored many times for being the #1 rated newsmagazine show in Japan.

Mezamashi TV” is a trendsetting infotainment program with a younger demographic audience. In addition to being very influential in the entertainment industry, this show has released a hit series of Motion Pictures and draws large audiences to live stage performances during Fuji Television’s summer event, 'Odaiba Adventure King'.”

It is an honor for an artist's song to be chosen as the show's theme song. Other songs that have been chosen include: Utada Hikaru's Last Friends, Yui's Oh Yeah, and Superfly's The Warm Feeling, as well as many other noted artists.

Congratulations to the girls!!!!
