We recently reported that a lot of Filipino Blackjacks lined up in 4 mall record stores in the Philippines to buy 2NE1 albums. Astroplus/Astrovision, one of the largest record stores in the country, has just revealed their album charts (January 10-16, 2011) and two 2NE1 albums (First Mini Album: Repackaged and To Anyone) which were just released claimed the number 1 and 2 spots respectively.
This is one great achievement! Kpop idol 2NE1′s Sandara Park has discovered about this and posted her message of gratitude in her me2day account.
Along with the photo above, she posted:
“Good morning!^.^ magandang umaga sa inyong lahat! I’ve been feeling good this morning! 2NE1′s album has been doing so well in the Philippines after release *.* maraming salamat sa inyong suporta! ^_^ have a nice day!!!”
Here are the translations of the Tagalog words she used:
“Magandang umaga sa inyong lahat!” means “Good morning to all of you!” while “Maraming salamat sa inyong suporta!” means “Thank you so much for your support!”
Dara must have been filled with awe since she loves the Filipinos so much. Remember when she also posted about 2NE1′s “Go Away” being Top 1 on MYX (a famous music channel in the Philippines)?
