2NE1, actor Ryu Seung Ryong, and actress Kim Nam Joo were ranked the top ‘Power Entertainers of 2013‘ in the categories of film, drama, and music.
The prestigious KAIST University measured the influence of
celebrities including actors and actresses, singers, and TV
personalities, and released the results of their ‘Power Entertainers of
Korea 2013′ report. For the film category, the entertainers’ long-term
box office sales over the past 3 to 5 years were counted and for the
other categories, the votes of 1,300 people from their teens to 5os were
researched to rank the most popular entertainers among a wide range of
age groups.
In the ‘film’ category, actor Ryu Seung Ryong was ranked #1 for his roles in the box office smash hit films ‘Masquerade‘ and ‘Miracle In Cell No. 7‘. Actor Ha Jung Woo came in 2nd and Park Bo Young was the representative actress in the top 10 at #7.
In the ‘drama’ category, Kim Nam Joo ranked #1 for her role in the popular drama ‘You Who Rolled In Unexpectedly‘ and Son Hyun Joo trailed behind in 2nd place.
In the ‘music’ category, 2NE1 ranked #1 and Busker Busker ranked #2.
