Make-up brand “Etude House” has revealed that they’ve sold out 40,000 of their special pink bunny umbrellas in just one week, thanks to their endorsement model, Dara!
Orders began pouring moments after pictures of Dara holding the umbrella were released.
The umbrellas were created with Dara’s rabbit nickname as the motif, and were sold for $2 USD if customers purchased over $20 worth of products.
‘Etude House’ revealed that Dara not only raised their sales, but even brought in a foreign consumer base. Tourists recently visited the store in Myungdong and bought the umbrella’s entire series of colors after seeing her picture.
Representatives commented, “We used Dara’s nickname of ‘Santokki’ as the idea for our sweet bunny umbrella. The response has been better than anything we ever expected, so we’re all very surprised.”
