2NE1 to promote not only in U.S., but also Australia and Canada in 2011!

The four members headed to Los Angeles earlier this year in order to meet and record with the rapper. Within the course of three weeks, the girls were able to record a total of 10 songs through three recording sessions held in Los Angeles and London.

Snippets heard throughout 2NE1tv showed that the girls were going for a more electronic and upbeat sound that would be marketable in the United States. With the girls’ unique style and Will.i.am’s well-known musical abilities, 2NE1 is planning on promoting alongside the rapper in 2011.

The girls plan on promoting not only in the United States, but also in Canada and Australia. Meanwhile, YG Entertainment‘s blog website has posted a countdown to a mysterious announcement. With this new information, fans are wildly speculating whether the announcement could be about 2NE1′s U.S. debut.
