2NE1 receives airplay on American Radio Station?

We’ve been receiving a lot of tips from readers in the greater Chicago area that they heard 2NE1‘s English version of “Can’t Nobody” on Chicago’s popular radio station 103.5 KISS FM.

If the tips are true, it’s a pretty big accomplishment. However, this would’t be the first time that K-pop was played on American Radio, as TVXQ‘s “Break Out” was played on New York’s Hit Music Station, Z100 back on February 2010.

With 2NE1′s future American album with will.i.am still pending, it shouldn’t be too long before hearing 2NE1′s music playing on American radio stations is no longer a novelty.

Dia Frampton performs her rendition of 2NE1′s “Lonely”!

After a successful run on the first season of NBC’s singing reality show ‘The Voice‘ last year, Dia Frampton released her single, “The Broken Ones”, and her first solo album, ‘Red’, to end 2011 with a bang.

Now, Dia Frampton has turned to k-pop to reveal her beautiful rendition of 2NE1‘s acoustic ballad, “Lonely”. Jung Il Woo reveals his friendship with Dara!

Actor Jung Il Woo of MBC‘s ‘The Moon That Embraces the Sun‘ recently guested on Section TV‘s ‘Entertainment Report‘ and revealed his connection to Sandara Park.

In his interview, he began talking about a particular friendship with a girl group member. In the past, he had actually had a kiss scene with  Dara in their drama, ‘The Return of Iljimae‘. He stated, “Recently, Dara texted me saying that she was having fun watching my drama. I told her thank you and asked her out for a meal some time.”

He also went ahead and left a video message for Eunjung, revealing that he was a fan of T-ara‘s latest hit, “Lovey Dovey“.

On the topic of his current drama, he talked about the psychological pain he had to endure playing the character of a deeply pained individual. Comparing himself to ‘Yangmyung’, he revealed, “I’m actually a lot like Yangmyung in real life in that I give everything I have to my girlfriend.”

He also went on to tell a funny story where he was unable to wash his face for 40 hours due to the strenuous drama filming, which eventually led to him developing acne.

Short PV of 2NE1′s ‘Scream’ revealed!

Recently, it was reported that a preview of the PV for 2NE1‘s new upcoming Japanese release, ‘Scream‘, aired on Mezamashi TV.

On March 6th, much to the fans’ delight, a short version of the PV was released. The video displayed the strong, unique concept characteristic of 2NE1, as well as a catchy dance-beat that is sure to bring fans to their feet.

Mezamashi TV airs preview for 2NE1′s “Scream” PV!

2NE1 is gearing up for the release of their Japanese single “Scream”, and ahead of its release, Japan’s Mezamashi TV aired a preview of the girls’ music video for “Scream”.

The song as well as music video seems to stay true to the distinct style of 2NE1, and is sure to be a hit.

Preview for 2NE1′s cover of Madonna’s “Like a Virgin” revealed in Japanese CF!

The ladies of 2NE1 are set to release their Japanese studio album “Collection” on March 28th.

It was recently revealed that the album would contain a bonus track which is a cover of Madonna‘s hit 1984 single “Like a Virgin“. The track was recently picked up by Japanese beverage company Kirin and was used in their latest CF (Commercial Film).

Part 3 of SHINee and 2NE1′s Dara ‘Etude Kiss Note’ Story revealed!

It was reported that cosmetics brand Etude House picked up two of Korea’s biggest superstars to help endorse their products this year. After releasing numerous teasers and photo shoots with SHINee and Sandara Park, Etude revealed Part 1 of their “Kiss Note” featuring Jonghyun, Part 2 featuring Key, and now Part 3 has been released.

Part 3 is titled, ‘The story of Orange color lips is falling in Exciting Love‘. In the video, Sandara Park’s latest ‘Kiss Note’ target turns out to be none other than the coffee barista and SHINee maknae Taemin. Like in Parts 1 and 2, Sandara daydreams then writes Taemin’s name in her notebook with a coral lipstick. She eagerly awaits as he walks over, but as the poor barista leans in for the smooch, an interruption presents a hilarious twist to this episode.

Before you all scratch your heads and wonder what this is all about, it is important to understand that one of the traditional standards of female beauty in Korea is having a proportional, beautiful forehead.

Part 2 of SHINee and Dara ‘Etude Kiss Note’ Story revealed!

After releasing numerous teasers and photo shoots with SHINee and  Sandara Park, Etude revealed Part 1 of their “Kiss Note” story two days ago, now Part 2 has been released.

Part 2 is titled: The Story of Red Color Lips has Got Racy Love Experiences. In the video, Sandara Park is in the school’s gym when the star basketball player (Key) arrives to give Sandara a kiss on the cheek! At the end, Sandara runs away and says to herself, “I can’t believe this, it must be a dream.”
