SBS‘s ‘Inkigayo‘ is back once again with a new show full of exciting performances from the artists you adore, brought to you by the lovely IU, and KARA‘s Goo Hara and Nicole.

Aside from the usual stages on tonight’s episode, girl groups miss A and Brave Girls made their hot comebacks with “Touch” and “Nowadays You“, respectively.

Meanwhile, B.A.P bid farewell with their hot debut track “Warrior“.

Artists from this week’s ‘Take 7′ include: TEEN TOP, Davichi, Sunny Hill, Ailee, F.T. Island, K.Will, and Se7en (Special stage performance with Park Bom)!

Minzy tweeted a cute photo of herself with a beret on.

Along with the photo, she posted on her twitter,  ”Painter Minzy, finished my photo shoot~~^__^“.

M-Flo releases ‘She’s So (Outta Control)’ featuring 2NE1!

Japanese hip hop group, M-Flo will be releasing their ‘Square One’ album in March 14th, which will include a track featuring 2NE1!

Although the album hasn’t officially been released yet, Tokyo FM 80.Love aired a preview of some of the tracks, including ‘She’s So (Outta Control)’ featuring popular female idol group 2NE1.

The song features a sound that is definitely different from the girls’ style, but the girls still manage to help give the track some of 2NE1′s distinct flair.

Member Minzy also shared the link to the song and tweeted, “We hope for your interest ^^!!”

Park Taeyang and Park Bom kiss caught on camera?!

A video of a kiss between Park Taeyang, the leader of CHAOS, and Park Bom of 2NE1 from six years ago has surfaced on YouTube and has belatedly become a hot topic

.

The kiss between the two actually took place for an MV shoot for Jieun, a YG female rookie solo artist at the time; Park Taeyang and Park Bom portrayed lovers for Jieun’s song “Hold Me Just Once“.

The two artists showed a more innocent image in the music video compared to their post-debut images now, and their charming youthfulness is apparent in the video.

Viewers of the video expressed interest and curiosity, leaving such comments as, “Who knew this was Park Bom and Park Taeyang“, “Park Taeyang seems to have deep ties with YG“, “I wonder if they knew they would meet again like this“, “They both look so young“, and “I must find out more“.

Lee Seung Gi’s last episode of Strong Heart to be ‘YG Special’!

SBS Strong Heart is preparing for a YG special.

On the 22nd, a related person from SBS said, “On the 15th March, at Strong Heart, ‘YG Special’ where all the singers from YG entertainment will appear will be filmed. The production team are having meetings about various concepts such as Psy being the MC.”

15th March is the date of the last recording of the current MC of Strong Heart, Lee Seung Gi. Lee Seung Gi is leaving the show in order to concentrate on his acting and singing activities.

SBS has been generous to YG artists. In 2010, when 2ne1 made a comeback on Inkigayo, for the first time ever, they performed 3 songs. In addition, in February 2011 when Big Bang made a comeback, a program called ‘Big Bang show’ was made. Yang Hyun Suk is also active on SBS Kpop Star at the moment.

Big Bang, who is about to make a comeback in March were invited as guests on ‘Healing Camp’ on the 20th, where they were able to explain about their recent problems and they have also recorded ‘Running Man’.

As if to repay SBS, Se7en who has recently come out with a new song, and Big Bang, have released their MVs firstly on Strong Heart. Because of the relationship of SBS and YG, many are curious how this Strong Heart YG special will be like.

However, because the last recording date for Lee Seung Gi was decided quite suddenly, it is possible that the schedule of the YG special might be changed?

Se7en and Park Bom to collaborate for this week’s ‘Inkigayo’!

It seems Se7en has another special performance planned for his fans.  It has just been reported that he will be collaborating with Park Bom, for his upcoming ’Inkigayo‘ performance!

To follow up, he’ll be teaming up with fellow labelmate of the same age, Park Bom. Fans are already anticipating the collaboration to see how Se7en’s melodic voice will meld with Park Bom‘s powerful vocals.

Reportedly, this had been in the making since the collaboration with J.Y. Park. While discussing Se7en’s stage, J.Y. Park and Yang Hyun Suk had thought of the idea as they recalled an occasion in which Se7en and Park Bom discussed doing a duet.

YG Entertainment stated, “Se7en’s ‘When I Can’t Sing‘ is a song that Park Bom liked instantly upon hearing it for the first time… Although she’s currently busy with preparations for 2NE1′s Japanese album and music video that will be released in March, she has been practicing whenever she could to prepare for this performance.”

2NE1 releases preview of Japanese “Love is Ouch” through new CF!

2NE1 has revealed a preview for the Japanese version of “Love is Ouch” through a CF for ‘CanCam‘ magazine.

‘CanCam’ is a popular women’s magazine in Japan that focuses on fashion and lifestyle. With 2NE1 being at the forefront of both fields in Korea and Japan, CanCam decided to utilize a song from the girl group for their new CF.

“Love is Ouch” was originally part of 2NE1′s 2010 album, ‘To Anyone‘. The Japanese version of “Love is Ouch” will be included in 2NE1′s new Japanese album, ‘Collection‘, scheduled to hit shelves on March 28th.

Hip hop producer Swizz Beatz wants to see a collaboration between 2NE1 and Rihanna!

World renown hip hop producer Swizz Beatz expressed his hopes to one day see a collaboration between Rihanna and 2NE1.

On February 20th, Swizz Beatz held a press conference at the Imperial Palace Hotel in Seoul to discuss the growing impact of K-Pop on the global music industry.

Swizz Beatz revealed,

“I think Korea’s K-pop is a kind of expression. The world is looking for something new and K-pop is a new trend. I want to play a part in making Korean music known worldwide.

As I travel around the world, I learn about the sound of each country. I’m not only interested in hip hop, but other musical genres as well. For Korean artists, I think KARA, Big Bang, 2NE1, and BoA (among other musicians) have many strengths. K-pop is an opportunity, and the future is bright.“

When asked about the potential for K-pop in the American pop music market, Swizz Beatz said,

“Although Korean people are accustomed to American pop music, K-pop may be unfamiliar to American people. However, the world’s hearts are open to music. K-pop has great potential. I think if 2NE1 and Rihanna got together, the effect would be great.“

Swizz Beatz has worked with top-tier artists such as Jay-Z, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Kanye West, U2, and many others. He currently has a business partnership with Korea’s Omen Media and has a new project in the works.

The lavish headquarters of Google have just met its match in YG Entertainment!

Recently, Minzy gave fans a quick tour through her company’s amazing office. ”Our company’s got table tennis, a pool table, restaurant…It’s a place that’s got everything,” she tweeted.

YG has been praised in the past for their excellent treatment of their employees; judging by the photo accompanying the tweet, it’s easy to see why. While it’s not yet known if the employees have complete access to all the amenities, the fact that YG is willing to invest so much into making their office a positive space drew high admiration from the public.

Envious fans and netizens commented, “Where do I apply?“, “Truly, YG is the best“, and “That chair looks pretty sweet too“.

The Buga Kings Perform 2NE1's "I Don't Care"!

The Buga Kings (Bobby Kim, Juvi Train, Gan–D) did their own version of 2NE1’s “I Don’t Care.” On the February 18 episode for Mnet’s “Yoon Do Hyun’s Must” The Bugs Kings made the performance.

One person of the audience stated, “I really like Bobby Kim and this performance was the best. It felt like a completely different song. The song was really great.”

On the episode Lee Hyun also performed miss A’s “Good Bye Baby.” During the episode Yoon Do Hyun also talked about how Bobby Kim changed after his appearance on “Survival: I Am a Singer.”

“Yoon Do Hyun’s Must” has new guests every week that sing classic songs. A new episode is broadcast every Saturday night at 12:00 am.

Sandara Park gifts Blackjacks with a special photo for Valentine’s Day!

Sandara Park sent her Valentine’s Day greetings to all the Blackjacks out there.

The singer shared a special photo (below) and wrote via her me2day page on February 14th, “Happy Valentine’s Day~!!! What are all of you single Blackjacks doing on a day like today? Thunder wants his sister, Dara, to marry late?

Thunder has revealed that he’s very protective of his older sister, Sandara Park.

On February 13th, Thunder guested on YTN‘s ‘News and Issue‘ alongside his fellow MBLAQ members. During the interview, Thunder was asked about Sandara’s plans for marriage.

Thunder replied, “I want my older sister to marry late.” He continued, “As a younger brother, I want to directly choose someone I approve of to be my sister’s spouse.” 

Fans and viewers alike expressed that they were charmed by Thunder’s unique attachment to his older sister.

Dara thanks fans for their 1,000th day anniversary!

It seems like it was only yesterday that girl group 2NE1 debuted with their hit song, “Fire“. According to member Sandara Park, however, it’s already been 1,000 days!

2NE1′s speedy news correspondent recently updated her me2day with a post thanking all their fans for the congratulatory messages. “Everyone~ Much love and thanks for congratulating 2NE1 on our 1,000 day anniversary since our debut~! Here is a picture of our cute maknaes posing for a photo!!! Hahaha they look like they’re doing an over-the-top apology, but it’s cute right?!?”

Sandara then shared this photo of CL and Minzy goofing around on the set of a photoshoot.

2NE1 had debuted in May of 2009 with “Fire”; prior to that, they made their first public appearance through Big Bang‘s hit song, “Lollipop“. The fierce foursome quickly moved on to become one of K-Pop’s greatest acts, scooping up numerous awards from South Korea and abroad.

Congratulations again to 2NE1 for all their past successes! We’re sure they will be many more to come.

Continuing to reveal more photos from their vacation in the Philippines, 2NE1‘s speedy news correspondent Dara posted a variety of fun shots on her me2day.

One photo in particular showed CL wearing sexy garter straps posing next to their hotel pool. Dara wrote, “CL in the Philippines!!! So ~ Sexy~!!!! +.+ hahaha Well she (also) swims! Very Well !!!!!! 

hahahahahahahahaha She’s seriously like a pro swimmer! CL’s swimming! Clap Clap Clap! I feel like during this trip I’m seeing things that I’ve never known or seen about our members, so its really fun and enjoyable! ^_^”.

Netizens of course were quick to agree with Dara commenting, “ChaeRin-ie SO SEXY!!!!”, and “Woh!!!! nice pose yah :)”.

But Dara isn’t the only member sharing her fun-filled vacation with fans. Earlier Park Bom left fanboys (and girls?) drooling with a stunning view of her long, shapely legs.  Not to mention maknae, Minzy has been keeping her 200K+ Twitter followers up-to-date with constant photos and tweets.

Other photos from the vacation included more stills from their hotel, a 500-year old church, a boat and even Dara on a jet ski. Looks like the fierce foursome is definitely getting the rest that they deserve.

Park Bom showed off her long legs while taking a stroll down a Philippine beach.

On February 4th, Park Bom shared this picture through her me2day and wrote, “My back side~ puahahaha. I’ll continue to update throughout the entire day today.”

The powerhouse vocalist wore hot pink shorts that immediately drew eyes to her model-esque legs. Caught in mid-motion with her hair tied up in a high ponytail, fans complimented the elegant quality of her photo.

How long does it take for idols to reach #1?

Recently, idol group TEEN TOP won their very first #1 on a music program with their latest single, “Going Crazy“. For TEEN TOP, who debuted in July of 2010 with their first single ‘Clap‘, the achievement took them exactly 564 days after their debut. This begs the question, how long does it take for idols to reach #1?

On February 4th, an online community posted a topic titled, ‘The time it takes for idols to reach #1 after their debut is...?’

According to the post, the idols who took the shortest time to reach #1 were:

• CN BLUE: 15 days after their debut with “I Am a Loner“
• miss A: 22 days after their debut with “Bad Girl Good Girl“
• 2NE1: 40 days after their debut with “Fire“
• F.T. Island: 55 days after their debut with “Lovesick“

On the other hand, the idols/singers who took the longest time to reach #1 were:

Park Bom Updates, "We're at Dara's Second Home Country"!

Earlier today, 2NE1’s Park Bom updated fans on 2NE1’s whereabouts on her me2day. She wrote, “Currently, we’re at Dara’s second home country, Phillipines. Riding in a Jeepney and taking a commemorative photo~ It’s so cool!” She also uploaded the photo of herself and Sandara.

In the photo, both are smiling at the camera as they held on to the rails inside the vehicle. Netizens commented, “I’m so jealous~ Have fun guys!” “They’re adorable,” and “It’s freezing here, but it must be warm in the Philippines. Have a good time guys~”

Meanwhile, Sandara also updated fans on her me2day as well, showing off her unique fashion style.

In the photos, Sandara showed off her unique fashion, matching a blue starred track jacket with colorful leggings.  She added, “Nah this isn’t for me. I couldn't catch any fish...All the other members are taking a lot of photos so I might as well too. We’ll head out to the city for a tour once we eat.”

2NE1 to release first Japanese album on March 28th!

It’s just been revealed that 2NE1 will release their first Japanese album on March 28th!

According to Japanese music site, Oricon, 2NE1′s album will consist of original Japanese songs and localized versions of “Fire” and “I Don’t Care“. 2NE1 will also release a DVD containing their music videos.

Leader CL revealed, “We are working diligently to create music so that the effort we put into the first Japanese album will make our  Japanese fans feel happy and surprised.”

In related news, 2NE1 and Big Bang will attend Japan’s ‘Springroove Festival‘ on March 31st, where they’ll be performing alongside other world-famous acts like David Guetta and LMFAO.

Sandara Park having fun in the Philippines!

Sandara Park showed off her new ride.

The singer posted the above photo via her me2day page on the 1st and wrote, “Hey! Get on! Rider Dara, enjoying a good time in Manila with the members! Getting to Manila from Seoul takes about 3 hours; although it isn’t too far, it’s a place I miss and the distance is too far to come visit often. The girls are taking lots of pictures for me… I may reveal them soon.”

Sandara Park looked happy to be back where she once lived in the Philippines, and netizens seem to agree that the singer looked good on what appears to be a red bike for an arcade game.

“Looks like fun“, they wrote, along with “Let’s Go!“, “Wow, fierce red pants“, and “Looking forward to your other pictures!”

In related news, Sandara along with the rest of her 2NE1 members went to the Philippines on February 1st for a vacation. After their vacation, they will go to Japan for promotional activities.

Park Bom charms with her consideration for fans!

Park Bom is in the spotlight for her tremendous love for her fans.

An online Korean community board shared a set of photos under the title, “Park Bom posing so fans could easily take her pictures“. The photos were taken from a previous concert, but netizens were charmed all the same by how considerate the idol was, allowing fans in the audience to take good shots while she was on stage.

This isn’t the first time that Park Bom made headlines for showing her love and respect for her fans. Not too long ago, she scolded her manager for pushing a fan. She later discovered that it was an accident, but the manager apologized to the fan all the same.

Park Bom also received positive reviews for giving the contestants on SBS‘s ‘K-Pop Star‘ honest and sincere critiques.
