CL performs the edited version of 'MTBD' in Dallas

CL and her staff seem to have recognized her mistake.

CL had gone under fire after using the unedited "MTBD" track during her Los Angeles show during her "Hello Bi+ches" tour in USA. When she released her solo track "MTBD" back in 2014, the song had become highly controversial when Muslims noticed that the background track sounded very much like a reading of a verse from the Quran. As the Quran is the central text of Islam, Muslims protested that it is extremely offensive and it should not be made light of by being put in a song or used for entertainment purposes of any form.

The Korea Muslim Federation had raised a formal complaint, and YG Entertainment had ultimately decided to take out the controversial part of the song out. However, the unedited track somehow made its way into her setlist during the Los Angeles show.

While she has not issued an explanation or made an apology, she and her staff did correct the issue right away. For her Dallas show (held just a few hours ago), she performed the edited "MTBD" track.

Black Pink speak their minds on comparisons to 2NE1

Black Pink spoke their minds about the comparison made between them and YG Entertainment label seniors 2NE1.

When asked about the difference between the two groups, Black Pink responded, "We don't purposely try to be different from 2NE1." The girls continued, "It's actually a big part of us that we're compared to 2NE1. We don't want to show a different color than them because we believe they portrayed the color of YG. We also want to show YG's color in our own, unique way."

Black Pink added, "We think it's good for us to follow them as much as we can. When you see their performance, 2NE1 are sunbae with overflowing charisma. We want to be shown like that on stage too."
